National Center for Rural Road Safety announces dates, registration for Road Safety Champion Program

BOZEMAN, MONTANA – 12/22/2023 – The National Center for Rural Road Safety (the Center) invites rural road practitioners to enroll in the next round of the Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP).

The RSCP is a nationally recognized certificate program that offers ‘Road Safety 101’ training to practitioners who may not have deep road safety knowledge. The virtual program will be held Tuesdays 11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET January 16 to March 12, 2024.

The Center administers the program across several disciplines. In the upcoming round, the RSCP will be delivered to professionals in the fields of maintenance and construction and planning and engineering.

Road Safety Champions become leaders in their agencies who are committed to prioritizing safety and are motivated to implementing safety improvements that reduce fatalities and serious injuries on rural and local roadways.
